Here an example of the past simple. 

John:¿Con quién jugaste?

Garfield: Yo jugué con Oddie. Por supuesto, yo gané.

Si bien es cierto, trabajamos con el pasado simple en oraciones afirmativas, así que les dejo un adelanto de lo que se viene en las próximas semanas. (Negative form and How to make questions.)

This is Alice. Last year, Alice met Josh at a coffee shop. Josh asked Alice to dinner. Josh was very handsome and Alice was single, so she said “yes”. They had so much in common. Alice liked to shopping. Josh liked to shopping too. Alice liked romance movies. Josh liked romance movies too. One week later Alice and Josh traveled to Italy. They stayed in a romantic hotel. They were in love. But on month later Alice found out Josh married someone else. After that Josh didn’t call Alice again. The end

Observa el vídeo y escucha atentamente la historia. Si tienes dificultades para escucharla, puedes intentar leer el texto de arriba. Luego, deberas copiar el texto en un word y marcar los verbos regulares en rojo y los irregulares con azul. Luego, escribe la traducción de la historia en español. No te olvides de enviar los datos personales en el documento word.

Past time expressions

Here you have some past time expressions. They go at the end of each sentence.
Some examples...
I drank a cup of coffee in the morning. (Yo tomé una taza de café en la mañana.)
I went to Santiago one month ago. (Yo fuí a Santiago hace un mes.)
We danced Cueca two days ago. (Nosotros bailamos cueca hace dos días)

*Las expresiones de tiempo siempre van ubicadas al final de cada oración afirmativa. En los ejemplos, son aquellas resaltadas con letra cursiva. Los verbos en pasado simple están subrayados.

First, let's remind the use of the personal pronouns. In Affirmative sentences in past simple, these go at the beginning of each sentence.
Primero, vamos a recordar el uso y significado de los pronombres personales en inglés. Estos van ubicados al inicio de la oración afirmativa.
